Several years ago, my husband was diagnosed with colon cancer. What followed was a brutal year of chemo, radiation, surgery, and more chemo.
On his last day of treatment, I knew a Susie Cakes Celebration Cake was the only way to celebrate the end of this difficult chapter for both of us. When I arrived at the shop to pick up the cake, the staff had a surprise for me. Noting the inscription on the cake, they upgraded me to a larger cake and added firework flare to the icing, on the house.
