Every year when SusieCakes offers the dog cookies to support charity, we rush to get them. The first year she tried one, she couldn’t stop herself from eating it.
As “her dog” cookie slowly started disappearing bite by bite, she became completely overwhelmed with grief.
She was so upset that she had eaten the entire thing.
As parents, we couldn’t help but laugh, and it quickly became one of those family stories that gets retold over and over again.
Years later, we still laugh about it every time the dog cookies return.
