Our Bakery to Your Door...

    Made to Order

    First, your cake is made to order and then promptly frozen to lock in freshness. We then use our custom designed food safe wrap liner to protect the cake followed by shrink wrapping the cake to keep it super fresh.

    Perfectly Packaged

    Next, we pack it with a custom designed inner cake box surrounded by decorative crinkle paper and we wrap the box in twine so the presentation of the gift looks amazing, including a hand written card.

    Shipped Overnight

    We then place the cake box into a custom fitted (and insulated!) branded shipping box and dry ice is added to keep the cake cool. Storage/serving instructions are also added to the box. UPS then picks up the box to get it to you the next day!

    Delivered to Your Door

    Your box will arrive on your doorstep. Handle the dry ice with care (using something such as oven mitts), place the wrapped cake in the refrigerator and follow the storage/serving instructions. Enjoy!

We absolutely enjoyed our cake! I had never had a cake shipped to me and I worried about a frozen cake thawing out and being dry. Boy was I wrong! It tasted fresh and creamy! The moisture held perfectly and it was delicious! Highly recommend and let the shipping worries go! She’s got a system down!

    This red velvet cake is a gift in and of itself! It's beautiful, the packaging is SO festive, and it is moist and DELICIOUS! It was shipped but tasted like it just came out of the oven!

    I’ve been a huge Susie Cake fan for years now, and I was SO excited when they announced they were going to start shipping! As someone who lives on the East Coast, I had been so sad I didn’t have easy Susiecakes access for so many years. But nationwide shipping was a gamechanger, and they really did an awesome job figuring out the logistics because both cakes I’ve now had shipped have been FABULOUS. They truly taste like they were made the day prior and flash frozen immediately. I was MOST excited when they recently started shipping red velvet, as it’s my favorite flavor and hadn’t previously been an option (I think due to concerns about the cream cheese frosting holding up). But it was SO GOOD and such a treat to show up at my door. I will also note that sometimes the issue with red velvet cake is that you can taste the food dye because so much has to be used to get such a rich color, but that is not at all the case with Susiecakes. Also A+ packaging; the box is so cute and comes with clear defrosting instructions and a birthday candle! The cake decoration is so cute and festive (the same as their traditional celebration cake but with red cake crumbs surrounding it so you have an indicator of what’s to come!) These cakes are admittedly NOT cheap, but for a special occasion, this is worth the splurge and I highly encourage anyone who’s a red velvet fan (or just cake fan in general), to order this cake!
