Because we bake without preservatives, we suggest enjoying your cupcakes the day they are purchased or the following day (stored overnight at room temperature).
This will depend on how you slice it but please refer to our guide below!
Buttercream cakes can be stored at room temperature. Cream cheese cakes should be refrigerated until four hours prior to serving.
All specialty cakes have a 3-4 day shelf life, whipped cream cakes have 2-3.

We have 5 items made without flour: our vanilla pudding, flourless peanut butter cookie, Susie’s nutty, Susie's Vanilla Cake (made without gluten) & flourless chocolate cupcakes. Many of these items are seasonal. There is gluten present in the bakery and other products, and we do share equipment among all products.

At this time we do not have any sugar-free baked goods.
We have always baked entirely from scratch, using only the freshest and finest real ingredients – butter, eggs, sugar, flour, premium chocolate – which all have a higher caloric content than those made with artificial flavorings, sweeteners and preservatives (which we’d never use!). We are fully committed to not sacrificing size, flavor, or quality ingredients to simply reduce caloric count and are proud to provide only the best tasting products for your special celebrations!

The most popular cake is Susie's signature Vanilla Celebration Cake. 6-layers of vanilla cake baked with colorful sugar confetti, filled & frosted with the signature retro-blue buttercream vanilla frosting.
Susiecakes is an old-fashioned bakery; we make our buttercream from scratch using real butter. Our buttercream frosting is found on cakes like our Vanilla Celebration Cake and Old-Fashioned Chocolate Cake. We also use a traditional cream cheese frosting on cakes like our Carrot Cake & Southern Red Velvet Cake.
YES! SusieCakes sells smash cake that are 4 inches. Smash cakes require a 24-hour notice and can be ordered online.
Before Covid you could find more items on our everyday menu, however, due to staffing shortages we had to (unfortuantely) remove some items from the menu to help streamline production. We have brought back some of these favorites for pop ups and seasonal offerings, and hope to one day return to the robust menu that we once offered. The new loyalty program requires a birth year when you sign up for the program and requires that you are 18+ to join. If you did not have a birth year – the year 2000 was assigned. The birth year does not matter for SusieFavors, as long as the loyalty member is 18+. The month is the most important piece because your birthday reward is sent on the first day of your birthday month. If your birth month is incorrect, please contact us here to let us know. If you are under the age of 18 and should not be in our loyalty program, please contact us so we can delete your account.
Your username is your email. If you’re wondering which email, it’s the email we sent the password reset email too on October 16th. If you are still having trouble just contact us by sending a message through our website and giving us your name, potential email addresses and phone so we can find the account connected to you.

YES! All existing rewards and points should roll over. If you think there was a mistake just contact us by sending us a message through our website and selecting rewards/loyalty so we can look into it.
The easiest way to see them is in the app right on the first screens when you log in. If you don't have the app, there are three ways to sign in on the website.
First, you must have an account. Sign up through our app store “SusieCakes” or by clicking sign up here.
In Bakery
When you order in-bakery and they ask if you are a rewards member, just give the team member the information they need to find your account. To make the process simple, make sure your account is completed online with your name and phone number so when you visit a bakery and a Team Member asks to look up your account it’s easy. You can also update your profile on the app under Account Settings page once you sign in (found under the tab Edit Account).
Online
When you order online, sign in to ensure you are earning points although if you are ordering online and using the email address associated with your account you should accrue points as well.
App
When ordering on the app you are already signed in so you will accrue points with each order.
DoorDash & Uber Eats
You do not earn points when you place an order through DoorDash or UberEats.
If you did not sign in, but you used the email address associated with your account you should still accrue points when the order is picked up/delivered. If you forgot to give your phone/name/email when you went into the bakery you can take a picture of the receipt send it to us via the contact us page.
Points do not expire, but rewards do.
1. It’s possible your points weren’t added yet if your items have not been delivered or picked up. For example, if you made a purchase for $43 for pickup tomorrow at 4pm, you won’t see those points until tomorrow at 4pm.
2.All points are before tips and taxes.

A free slice of birthday cake is added to your account on the first day of your birth month. For example, if you were born May 18 or May 10, you will get the free slice on May 1.This means that if you sign up for SusieFavors during your birthday month, you won't receive the reward until the following year as all rewards are sent out on the 1st of the month. st!
First, verify you don’t see it by logging into the app and looking at the dashboard (as soon as you log in it’s the first screen!) to see if you see it there. Or, if you’d prefer not to use the app, you can log in online HERE. Once you log in you should see a summary of your account and see the birthday reward right there if you have it.
Next, confirm under your account that the correct birth month is assigned to your birthday. You cannot change your birthday but if it’s incorrect please contact us here so we can adjust it.
No, you do not earn point for national shipped orders as the ordering systems are separate. However, if you send us the receipt by sending us a message HERE we can add points for you. Rewards will not be able to be used on national ship orders.
We can usually guarantee most orders same day, however we have several products that require a 24-hour notice. In order to fully guarantee you get the cake you want, we accept orders up to 6 months in advance. Please contact the bakery location directly for details.
If you are ordering for shipping, keep in mind we ship Monday through Thursday for next day air and you can schedule up to 3 months in advance. You can order a cake to be shipped next day when you do so before 9pm ET/6pm PT.
Yes, we deliver locally (typically within a 5-10 mile radius of our bakeries).
At most locations you can place same day orders up until 5pm on most days of the year, however, we recommend ordering in advance of major holidays because sometimes same-day orders are not available at those times. In addition, not all products are available for same-day orders.

Please contact us here to make any changes to your order. We will do our best to accommodate any changes, however, if the product has already been prepared, shipped and/or delivered we may not be able to accommodate your request.
For local orders delivered or picked up from our bakeries our policy states to contact us 72 hours prior to the delivery or pickup date.
For national shipment orders, you must contact us 24 hours prior to the shipment date (for example, if you requested a Wednesday arrival of your cake we would be shipping it out on Tuesday and would therefore need to know about the cancellation by 5pm on Monday). If you would like to cancel please contact us with your order number, name, phone number so we can assist you. Orders cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be eligible for a store credit.

Marked As Delivered (Stolen)
Claims will be reviewed no earlier than 5 calendar days and no later than 15 calendar days from when it was marked delivered
Please note, some order issues may require a police report to be filed
Stuck In Transit (Lost)
For domestic orders, claims will be reviewed no earlier than 2 calendar days and no later than 30 calendar days from the last update. The maximum filing time is 60 days from the order date
For international orders, claims will be reviewed no earlier than 20 calendar days and no later than 30 calendar days from the last update. The maximum filing time is 60 days from the order date
Damaged
Claims for damaged items require photos of the packaging and item(s) and must be filed no later than 15 calendar days from when it was marked delivered.
