Great customer service. I ordered a lemon cake being a friend's favorite flavor. Wasn't sure how much I would like it. OMG, IT WAS A HIT!! So delicious the cake was moist, fluffy and the frosting was good. I've become a fan of lemon cake.

    Horrible. Too sweet. Crunchy sugar completely covering broken buttercream. Tough sponge. Curd tasted storebought. Not true, fresh lemon flavor. Next day cake was hard as a rock and buttercream tasted old. First got hit of butter, then came flavor of old confectioners sugar.     This cake is absolutely delicious. The lemon curd filling is bright and lemony, the cake is dense and moist and the buttercream delicious. The yellow sugar sprinkled on the buttercream puts it over the top.

    We got this cake for my baby shower when it was the monthly special. Everyone LOVED it! All we could talk about was how delicious this cake was - the lemon curd being the star! It’s perfectly tart and perfectly sweet. I’m so glad Susie decided to offer this cake as a regular! I’ve ordered it twice since then. So delicious!

    This is my favorite cake ever. I like lemon flavored desserts but don't love them and I can't get enough of this cake. Please ship this cake!

    I am a very loyal customer of Susy Cakes. However, the Lemon Cake I ordered for a friend's birthday was a dismal failure. My friends know I always bring a Susy Cake for parties, and they were excited to try a new one. The failure of this cake was a topic of conversation. I never do reviews, but I ordered this cake based on the Susy Cake reviews on the website. I give this cake a 2-star rating and not a 1-star because the cake looked beautiful. It was yellow and sparkled with yellow sugar-like confetti. The handmade daisies were precious. And Susy Blue frosting Happy Birthday message was gorgeous on top of the yellow cake.
