Experience the nostalgia of Susie’s Old-Fashioned Chocolate Cake and your favorite See’s Candies! This limited-edition cake has four layers of rich chocolate cake frosted with brown sugar buttercream, topped with chocolate sprinkles and Milk Bordeaux™ candy pieces.

This cake is a 6-inch cake. Each cake is shipped with a complimentary candle and matchbox.

This cake can only be shipped through 12/1/26. Please do not select a delivery date after that time.

Selecting a Delivery Date

While we ship next-day via UPS, delivery may be delayed due to weather or other service issues. Please choose a delivery date at least 3 days before you plan to serve the cake to allow time for possible delays and the cake defrosting process. We deliver Tuesday through Friday.

For example: If you plan to serve on Saturday, select a Wednesday or earlier delivery date. See graphic above.

    Made to Order

    Your cake is made to order, quickly frozen to lock in freshness, and packed in a custom cake box with dry ice.

    Cake Delivered

    Your box will arrive right at your doorstep! Handle the dry ice with care (using oven mitts or a towel). All our packaging and insulation is recyclable!

    Defrosting Process

    Place the wrapped cake in the refrigerator overnight. If you received your cake early, you can keep the cake in the freezer until you're ready to start the defrosting process.

    Serve & Enjoy!

    On the day of your celebration, remove the cake from the fridge, unwrap, and place the cake on your counter at least 4 hours before serving. Our cakes are best served at room temperature.

    This has to be the best cake I’ve ever eaten. I really thank Susie‘s cake for partnering with See’s Candy. I love Bordeaux chocolates and having it in the cake and around the cake and the icing on the cake. It was absolutely fabulous. I can’t say how wonderful it is ..I’m glad to see that sold out, but I hope it’s coming back.

    I ordered this cake because my mom who passed away in 2020 loved Bordeaux candy and her nickname when she was little was Susie. The cake was delivered on the anniversary of my mom’s celebration of life. My family took this as a sign to have another celebration of her life. We all tried our first bite of the cake at the same time. Lo and behold it tasted exactly like our traditional “family birthday cake” which was chocolate cake with homemade butterscotch icing. It literally brought tears of joy to my eyes. Needless to say we all LOVE the cake and the memories it evoked of my mom. I have already ordered another one to freeze.

    We bought cupcakes and cake. Yes it’s pricey but really is worth it. Just buy it once a year. My wife’s favorite birthday cake!

    This cake was so delicious, moist and tased exactly like a See’s Milk Chocolate Bordeaux!! AMAZING!! It was worth the money to have the experience! Yummy!!!

    The cake was ok. To much frosting for the average person. Shipping was excellent and cake arrived in perfect condition.

    Simply wonderful. Would love to see this become a regular offering. Holiday/fall collection, perhaps? Our family agrees this by far is the BEST cake/ cupcake we have purchased from SusieCakes. Would be a GREAT holiday tradition to have….. bring it back!!!!!
