Susie's Story

As we enter Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I wanted to take a moment to share a personal story that’s very close to my heart. Over the past few years, I’ve faced my own battle with breast cancer—not once, but twice. Like so many women, I went through the difficult process of chemotherapy and radiation. It’s been a long and challenging journey, but it has also given me an even deeper understanding of how important it is to raise awareness and support those affected by this disease.

Supporting breast cancer awareness, particularly through our partnership with the Susan G. Komen Foundation, means the world to me. This cause isn’t just a charitable effort; it’s a mission that touches me personally. At SusieCakes, over 80% of our team members are women, and I want to ensure that we’re doing everything we can to educate, support, and empower them to prioritize their health.

Throughout October, we’re proud to offer our Komen cake available for nationwide shipment, with $5 from every sale going directly to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Every dollar helps bring us closer to a world without breast cancer, and I am honored to contribute to that vision alongside you. Thank you for being part of our journey and for supporting this cause that has touched so many lives, including mine.
